The goal of the thesis is to<br \/>\npresent the life story, literary works, and biblical translations of this relatively unknown character<br \/>\nliving in the tumultuous period in the Polish and Lithuanian history. A significant portion of the<br \/>\nresearch is dedicated to the evolution and progress of the subject\u2019s religious beliefs as shown on his<br \/>\nmajor publications that include theological treatises as well as translations of the Bible.
