KAMIL KROFTA AND FF UK BRATISLAVA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract:<\/strong> Kamil Krofta (1876-1945), Czech historian, studied history at the Faculty of History of<br \/>\nCharles University in Prague. After 1919, he worked in the diplomatic service in the Vatican, Vienna,<br \/>\nBerlin, and from 1936-1938 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czechoslovak Republic. After the<br \/>\ndeath of Prof. Jan Heidler, during his diplomatic service in Vienna, he was a professor of general<br \/>\nmodern history at the Faculty of Philosophy of Comenius University in Bratislava from 1923\u20131925.<br \/>\nHis research and publications during this period and later on were devoted to medieval and modern<br \/>\nhistory of Hungary and Slovakia.
